ABOUT CHABAD @ SUNY UB :
For over four decades, Chabad at UB has been the address where every Jewish student can turn to for everything and anything. From a bowl of homemade chicken soup on a Friday night, an insightful discussion during the week, to a shoulder to lean on in a time of pain, Chabad House has become the home away from home for hundreds of Jewish students at UB.
Chabad at UB stands on the front lines of the battle for Jewish continuity and pro-Israel advocacy, empowering the next generation of Jewish leaders.
On a personal level, Rabbi Avrohom and Moshe Gurary and their wives Chani and Rivka are available 24/7. Our students are not just friends, they are family. Our pledge is to touch the heart of every single Jewish student at UB, thus increasing their knowledge and commitment to the Jewish people and humanity.
