Single Jewish Moms

4 years ago, I had my first Bais Chana experience. Since then, I've done just about anything and everything that could be done for this incredible organization-- I have worked in the office, been a camp counselor, been a teacher, been a caterer, and now, perhaps most important of any job, I'm being a fundraiser. Year after year, I have seen the direct and astonishing results that Bais Chana (and the real family of people who works for it) has had in the lives of women and girls of all ages and stages. The support goes far beyond the retreats and classes. From women's spiritual education to a shoulder to lean on, there is nothing the Bais Chana team will not do to inspire and be there for its women. I myself am a living testament to that support and encouragement, and I know countless others who are as well. I was fortunate enough to cater a Single Moms event last winter. No freezing Northeastern weather could match the fire that was ignited during that retreat. During those few days, women supported one another, had a chance to hear what they needed to hear and find out what they wanted to find out, and got the too-rare treat of getting to focus on themselves and refuel. There are hundreds and hundreds of single mothers that deserve to have this experience, too. And I want to make it happen, together with you.
