ABOUT THE TEAM

Rus Devorah has been part of Bais Chana since her first visit as a student (and virtual Torah sponge) to 15 Montcalm Court in S. Paul, MN in the late 70's. Since then, she was a madricha, dorm mother, teacher and overall farbrenger in more recent programs. Rus Devorah loves working with the Single Moms' program, and has had much nachas seeing her Single Mom friends become Married Moms with their new families. Please support this very worthy cause! RDW

Single Jewish Moms Connect

You make the whole Jewish Family stronger when you support single Jewish moms!

With education, mentoring, resources and a worldwide community of supportive moms, together we’re helping women get back in the driver's seat in their lives.  

Five short years ago Bais Chana Women International proudly piloted a getaway exclusively for single Jewish mothers, fully subsidized. The impact far exceeded our expectations. It was a game-changer for the women who came and it made their lives better - and their children’s lives better.

It’s 5 years, hundreds of families and a good number of weddings later – and we need to do more.

Our goal in this campaign is to raise money for twice as many women to attend retreats this year. We’ll expand the resources we have to include more online workshops and classes on solo parenting, new relationships, financial management and custody arrangements.
