Chabad of the "Neighborhood", named after the idyllic charm of SF's West side, was established in 2021 by Mendel and Devorie as a network to create, facilitate, and embolden Jewish life in the "sleepy West side". Chabad of the neighborhood has made a lifelong commitment to 'spread Yiddishkeit'; make Judaism proud, elegant and prominent in every facet of daily life via bold initiatives and programs that challenge local community members to take an active role in Jewish leadership.
Pesach is the festival of Freedom and an opportune time to raise funds to cover our first quarter of the year; which includes but is not limited to, Sunday's Jewish Education Zone, Jewish After School, Mesibat Shabbat children's parties, YJP dinners, Weekly Shul and Torah Study, all our famous culinary bakes and Deli, and friday night dinners and holiday events.
Chabad of the Neighborhood is funded almost exclusively by local generous donors like yourself. Please consider partnering with us in creating an oasis of Yiddishkeit in the Bay Area, and please reach out if you have any ideas of what additional Jewish renaissance you want to see in your hometown and you think we could collaborate.
