The North End Eruv
An Eruv is a ritual enclosure that communities build in their neighborhoods to permit Jewish residents or visitors to carry certain objects (food, keys, strollers, gifts) outside their own homes on Shabbat and Yom Kippur. The North end Eruv was established in 2009. Since then, it has been expanded to bring more families inside its boundaries.
The eruv is checked weekly by a dedicated team of checkers with Dr. Yussi Greenberg at the forefront and in consultation with Rabbi Kletinik.
The eruv operational costs per year: $9,000/annually
