Chabad @ USC was founded by Rabbi Dov and Runya Wagner 16 years ago. Since its founding, they have worked tirelessly to create a place all can call home. Shabbat dinners, Sinai Scholars Society, Israel trips, classes, events – they do whatever it takes, to be there in every way for thousands of students and alumni each and every year.
Rabbi Dov and Runya are literally available 24/7, on call for all, all the time.
As Chabad grows, so does the budget. Chabad's operating annual budget is now $405,000 and ONLY with support of the parents, alumni, students, community and friends can Chabad @ USC continue to do what it does.
And right NOW, Chabad needs to grow! We are literally bursting at the seams, with more students than space!
We are in the middle of restoring and renovating our beautiful Chabad House, and the expansion will be starting shortly. In all, we will be quadrupling the square footage available for public use, with a huge new dining hall, sanctuary, and commercial kitchen. It is a $2.5 million project, and we still need to raise over $1,000,000 to get it built. This campaign will give us a significant boost! And today, every dollar is TRIPLED!!!
