Alpha Epsilon Pi

Being an organization that represents and leads the Jewish Community at the Univesity of Illinois, we the members of Alpha Epsilon Pi, have pledged to participate in the Illini Chabad match-a-thon.

Over the years, Illini Chabad has always been there for us, so now it is our turn to give back to the great organization. Without the leadership of Rabbi Dovid and his wife Goldie, we would not be able to be a part of such a united Jewish Community on campus, and we would not have quite the same Jewish Pride. They have created such a welcoming environment for all Jews and Non-Jews, and help make our lives easier. In times of need, the staff at Illini Chabad have provided us with a parental figure that we can go to for guidance and comfort when we are not able to be with our parents. We are so fortunate to have such a great organization at our disposal and we want to see Illini Chabad continue to prosper and grow. 

What many people are not aware of is the fact that Illini Chabad is 100% donor based. Without donations like yours today, Illini Chabad would not be able to run the way it does. We cannot thank you enough for any contribution you can make to help us reach our goal.  If $50,000 is raised in 48 hours, it will be matched, and $100,000 will be donated to Chabad. As Alpha Epsilon Pi, we set our goal to $2,500, ultimately raising $5,000. However, that is just a benchmark and we would love to greatly exceed this number. Although raising thousands of dollars may seem like a lofty goal, we are committed to raising as much money as possible in order to help out Illini Chabad, an organization that is always there for us. We would love if you could show your support to AEPi and Illlini Chabad, any contribution would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way. Thank you.
